Hi
I'm new to contracting, and am actually only going to be on the market for 3 months before I move abroad. As such, I've gone with an Umbrella Company.
One thing that I wanted to ask was with regards to claiming a refund to make up for the fact that I will only be working for 1/4 of the year (minus the tax already paid at my previous job). I know I can claim a refund on tax, but what about the employer NI?
It's roughly £1k a month, assuming then that this rate is based on me having this rate for the entire year, wouldn't it be less overall? If so, how do I go about claiming a refund?
