    Video interaction with PC ?

    Hi,

I need to video my interactions with a PC to make a training demo. I need to be able to record mouse pointer movements, keyboard input on terminals etc as they happen - basically I need a video of the PC's screen output during the program use for later editing.

Acn anyone tell me the name of a good, ideally free program with this capability ? If it makes any difference the target program will be running in a VirtualBox virtual machine.

    Thanks,

    Boo

Camstudio used to work in Windows 7. I'm not sure about W8.

Snagit is good for capturing simple 2 minute clips. I use Snagit and Camtasia for Mac.

            Camtasia is OK.
I can't remember whether Adobe Captivate has a free trial period or not.
