What do you think of this spec for my new pc?

Realistically, I reckon 16GB RAM and 2x SSD in RAID is the way forward.......oh, and an i7

Add in at least a GTX NVidia card, too

Well, having read the replies on this thread and having spent some time considering it, I finally decided to include an SSD in the spec of my new machine. I bought the machine and it's now up and running. It is fast and works great!

did you do all the SSD tuning to make sure it doesn't write to the disk as much, not such a problem nowadays but it can stop it responding occasionally.
