Software Asset Management Tool

One of my clients is a small transport co with around 90 PC's plus 10 servers (some VM'd)

Please can anyone recommend a Software Assett Management tool that will allow an easy inventory to be taken of the PC software estate (to include non Microsoft as well - since the MSIA tool only covers Microsoft software)

Have a mix of Win7, Vista and a few soon to be replaced XP machines.

Somewhat depends on the reason for the audit; license tracking, asset management, FAST assessment...
Centennial software used to be an obvious choice, but now consumed by Frontrange as part of HEAT suite.
Does client have a helpdesk or security suite which has a SAM module option?
FAST provide a range of software themselves.
