A few days a week I can work from home for my current client which is great. My main need to be able to do this is to be able to connect to their network via a remote access system.
All was originally fine but now I am having problems. I can connect to the VPN but when I try to access any systems, especially MS Exchange, it doesnt seem to want to connect. I get an error message indicating "Problems with connecting to MS Exchange"
I have had my Clients laptop checked out by their client support along with my ADSL modem/router and they said both worked fine. I have spoken to my ISP who says there is not a problem with the service. BT have checked the line and say fine.
One suggestion was that lightning had damaged the filter at the terminating end of the BT line however, this problem is sporadic. Sometimes I can connect and sometimes I can't.
Anyone any suggestions as to what it could be or how I can diagnose the problem end to end as each element are claiming "not their problem"? If I don't resolve it soon I will have to resort to going in 5 days a week!
