Red tinted screen on my MacBookPro

so, erm, found that my screen now has a red tint to it on my 1 year old MacBookPro

after about 60-90 mins it goes away but will re-appear on a reboot

just outside its one year warranty and no applecare (is it too late to get?)

What do our esteemed panel think? Any easy fixes?

    Thanks

    It's a known issue.

Take it back to Apple, this shouldn't be happening, irrespective of it being just out of warranty.

Had similar on my last non-retina MBP but it was under applecare and even though I was in boston (though unit bought from Glasgow), they swapped it out in 40 minutes, no questions asked. That's why I'm a fanboi...

It's been happening with a few iPad-3's as well.
