    Not really very technical but...

Can anyone recommend a good deal for a new PC. It's for my sons birthday to replace the old Dell P3 500 he's been lumbered with for the last 2 years.

I'm a bit out of touch with PC hardware these days so any sensible suggestions would be welcomed. Silly ones will be ignored or ridiculed as appriopriate.

Purpose : School work, internet, games, music. ( almost certainly not in that order, but one can hope. )

    Budget : £500.

Grab a Dell on offer on their web site - they do the job.

        Let's get priorities right:

        1. Bittorrent
        2. Unreal Tournament
        3. Porn
        4. MSN Messenger / IRC
        5. Browsing crap

Heh heh heh! Definately agree with that TheMonkey. Are you an Onslaught man or a DeathMatch man?
