Really random question..
Any idea how I go about cancelling broadband - we moved in to our house in Jan and there were 2 working phone lines - despite being told there was only one.
The main line is up and running and in my name.
The 2nd line - the old owner told me this was dead 3 years ago, but it is not.
Trying to get it cancelled and deactivated is a nightmare as it is not in my name.
I have found that the line is paid for by the MOD, but tracking down somebody to take responsibility in the MOD is not simple..
The previous owner does not want to take ownership of the issue as he should have told the MOD 3 years ago that he no longer needed the line (and then again when we moved in and told him the line was active).
So how the hell do I get it cancelled!
