A plan B offshoot I'm looking into is an iPad version of some medical software I'm creating. As a fairly niche market selling at $1.99 is a non-starter. I know there are popular apps that cost more like 'real software' - TomTom at ~$100 is the one which springs to mind - but I would like to do some proper research into premium-price apps, and I couldn't find an easy way to do this. I don't use iTunes normally so perhaps I missed something (and how I hate that you can't even browse it on the PC to find apps without installing iTunes).
Can I search on price, or will I simply have to search for apps which are similar to mine and look at their pricing?
edit: I did find this list, 3 of the apps are in the same space I'm working in.
