Just messing about with a usercontrol in c#. I am overriding the onpaint method and drawing a simple elipse on the control surface in the overridden onpaint method. All works fine.
Except for when the control loses focus in the designer. Then the elipse disappears and won't reappear unless I attempt to resize the control.
At runtime the elipse does not show at all. Been foogling and cannot really find a solution, other than overriding the wndProc and listening for windows messages (which I am sure is not necessary in this day and age)
So, htf can you get a usercontrol to repaint itself, you know, sort of like when it should so it looks like what it oughta?
