I am quite up on my gadgets and I have actually chosen to use the Kindle. I can get any book for free on binary news groups so its like having a massive free library at my finger tips. If I like the book I will usually buy it to support the author, as I am not a pirate.Comment

No I am not, I buy the book if I like it, I am doing the same as someone who goes to a bookshop and has a read through the book or borrows it from the library first. What does HTH mean?Originally posted by markmm View PostI think you'll find you are still a pirate.

Tonight I hid a Marcos Pizza under my jumper and snook past the security guards at Lidl. I'm about to cook it and if I like it, I'll pay for it. Does that make me a thief?Originally posted by freelancer75 View PostI am quite up on my gadgets and I have actually chosen to use the Kindle. Shoplifting in Lidl's? Just how poor are you, pal?Originally posted by lightng View PostTonight I hid a Marcos Pizza under my jumper and snook past the security guards at Lidl.
(material stolen from some Scottish stand-up and published online by me, just up there ^, without permission.)
Getting back on topic, I have a Datawind Ubisurfer which comes with Mobipocket. I'd suggest you don't go down that route. Also the book selection is very poor.Last edited by RichardCranium; 10 December 2010, 08:02.My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment

In some cases, you have a point. But arguing "I should be able to take a product and only pay if I like it"... that's totally subjective and since the law is clear, there's no debate. If your client says after the first week, "sorry we think you're not what we want" then are they still supposed to pay you?Originally posted by Ignis Fatuus View PostPerhaps he doesn't need to, because he is thinking in terms of the difference between Right and Wrong, not the written orders of the lawmakers.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
