    Shoddily Written Tech Articles

Is it just me or are more and more technical articles on the internet being written purely to plug a company or product or both.

2 articles I've read in the past couple of days:
Extending Hierarchical Data Modeling Demonstrated in SQL — DatabaseJournal.com
Absolute gibberish finished off with a conclusion which directs the reader to the authors own company website

    http://intelligent-enterprise.inform...leID=225402155
Pointless arguement about ETL vs ELT - Anyone who's had to build a number of ETL systems will know that the order or number of occurances of the E and T and L are interchangeable, it's still ETL even if its actually an ELTLEL system
    Coffee's for closers

The main purpose of most of these articles is self promotion. There are a lot of jibbering monkeys out to make money.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

The article is only there for Search engine purposes. The only requirements for the articles are:

the client has paid someone money.
the article is suitable different from other articles to appear unique when google sees it.

Meanwhile someone in India has been paid $2 to write some crap.
merely at clientco for the entertainment
