    Skype Headsets

Mine seems real flaky so I wondered if anyone can recommend either specific bits of kit or places to buy?

And is there any clear benefit to bluetooth Vs simple headphone/mic plugs Vs anything else?

I bought a logitech jobbie that plus in via USB about 25 quid, no problems so far and fairly comfortable.

If it's USB does that mean it shows up as a new sound card when you plug it in?

If you mainly/only use it for voice calls forget headset and just get a skype phone then you are not tied to the PC, hell it does not even need to be on

Don't want to hold a phone for 3 hours while typing notes in a meeting.

I've got some Labtec (not USB) ones that have lasted for at least three years now. The Logitech ones I had before that fell apart after about a year.
