    Having got my VirtualBox running with the help of some dubious running with root privileges my x-lite client registers ok. And I have the screenys. All good.

    Right, just set up the outbound trunk like I did this morning. Letter for fooking letter, digit for fooking digit.

    Doesn't work.

    Every time I try and dial out I get 480 Temporarily Unavailable.


    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rggggggggggggggggghhhhh

    Something has to go right for me today.

          Three options 1,2,3 (unsuprisingly)
          The box seems DTMF deaf

          Just goes straight to timeout message

          tried

          dtmfmode=info
          dtmfmode=auto
          dtmfmode=rfc2833

            10 years of development and its still a bugger to setup. sheeesh!

            There are plenty of hosted solutions around at quite reasonable rates. so don't lose hope! If I can get exim4 working with LDAP, I'm sure you can get this Asterisk working.
