How did the scammer know the email address to use unless Amazon has been hacked, or a member of staff is responsible?
Depends what the email address is. If it's amazon@numpty.com then it's probably just the spammers algorithm that found you. If it's i_23xuizz@ewz_23_we_234p.tw then probably Amazon have been hacked.
