    CSS Sample Pages

I'm thinking of putting together some web pages, and having zero aptitude for style aspects of web development I'd like to copy those of some other site.

Anyone know of a site like http://www.csszengarden.com/ but with less emphasis on arty exuberant looking pages and more geared to practical layouts and fonts?

Or just a site whose style, and above all clarity, is impressive? Clarity needn't mean "sparseness". In fact I don't find minimalist pages very appealing, and they aren't always even user-friendly, nor lend themselves to packing in a lot of information. It could look quite "busy" and yet retain clarity with the right layout, colours, and fonts.

Come to think of it, the CUK main pages may not be far from the kind of appearance I'm after, although I'd go for a larger font and that might preclude the use of the same layout.

Have a look through the vast number of free WordPress themes - you're bound to find a decent starting point in there.

I started with this chap's templates since they provided me with what I was after. May be too minimalist for you.

If you want to tinker around with templates once you find one, I found http://www.w3schools.com/Css/default.asp quite good, as you can see exactly what it looks like in a preview pane.
