It took me a while to find "Find on this page" (made to appear along with File, Edit, etc by right clicking and then checking the menu bar). After which Find seemed to work okay.

        Ctrl+F.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

It doesn't open a dialog box any more, pressing Ctrl+F or selecting "Find on this page" adds a search field to the toolbar like Firefox & Chrome do.

The search field in the top right fires up whatever search engine is configured as your "default search provider" within IE i.e. Google, Yahoo, etc.

Install Firefox. Navigate to desired page. Start typing search text.

Change default browser. Install AdBlockPlus. Don't look back.
