Recommendation for Windows laptop to run Photoshop CS3?

As per the title really. Daughter wants one to take her college work with her as the college PC's are rubbish. Ideally I need something that will last her for 3 to 4 years use mainly for graphical work. Is this too much to ask on a budget of say 500 to 600 quid? Thanks.

One of these maybe, Toshiba P300-19Q ?

it needs to have decent resolution screen..the screen can be small but it has to have small dot pitch at the same time. I personally find that 1024x768 is ok but noe enough especially if you dont know how to utilize photoshop interface space properly

How long does the battery last on this?

I'd say the main requirements for Photoshop are:

                    Native hi-res screen.
                    Full 4GB RAM
                    Reasonable CPU.

                    So that means a 1920 x 1080 (1080p) screen.

One of these fits your budget, has the hi-res screen option and can be made to look arty-farty for a girl
