    Broadband

    Who you with?

    How much do you pay?

    What's the service like?

Got my BT bill this morning and definitely time to find a cheaper provider - BT are now taking the p!ss with their prices.

Talk Talk for nearly 3 years now.

Pay nothing for Broadband, but have to move to their phone line.

No limit on downloads, just a fair use policy.

so paying around £25 a month for phone and broadband (no BT line charge)...unlimited uk calls and some international....not 0845s or mobils...

Only had 2 outages in those years...and both fixed in 24 hours max.

        Be Unlimited

£17.50/month for up to 24mbps (I get around around 15mbps) and an optional static IP.

Service is good, but their "BeBox" (rebaged Thompson box) isn't the most reliable piece of kit. They look to be issuing newer boxes now though.

Tech support is Eastern European - and not too bad from my experience with them.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

I was with O2 before I moved to AOl.

Was with them for a year and never had any outages and their customer services was good.

Only issue I faced with O2 broadband was, whenever I received a call on my landline or made a call on the landline, broadband service would stop for a minute or so and then come back.

I'm not sure whether this is common with other broadband suppliers (other than AOL) as well. AOL does not seem to have that issue though.

That was my initial thought bearing in mind how competitive the market is now.

                    Another vote for Be.

I get about 17.5 with the odd bit of bother, but not often.

TS maybe in Eastern Europe but every time I've spoken to them they have been clear accents and enough brain cells.

BT line is a requirement though.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
