    PC to TV

    Hi,

I've got a bog standard laptop with DVD player, is there a cable I can get to connect it into my TV via a SCART ?

Would it be USB > SCART or VIDEO OUT > SCART ?

    Also whats the quality like?

    Thanks

Possibly S-Video? If not, Video out would do it. Quality won't be great... may have to rely on the laptop for sound.

      You want one of these:

I would expect quality to be average, about as good as s-video can be.

This in-line SCART adaptor allows for a video or audio signal via phono sockets or S-VIDEO switched to be input or output without losing the use of a SCART socket as the signal is passed through from back to front.
          WTF does that mean?

it means you can plug a scart cable into the back of it as well as the s-video plugs. I take it you don't spend much time reading vague specifications, this is easy to work out!!
