Multiple BMPs to Animated GIF file Recommendation request

Ok chaps I've got some BMPs of CM's knicker elastic that I want to put together into an animated GIF file.

Please can you recommend a Windows program that will stitch 'em together?

Preferably free as I've got CM's Magners habit to fund!

There's a web based thingie that does it - try a google for GIF generator

The last one I used was the Microsoft GIF Animator. That was a while back though.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

        IrfanView

        http://www.irfanview.com/

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Never used it but Beneton Movie GIF is Windows, free and appears to have all the necessary features

                Get a Mac

Anyway, spyware is a necessary feature for Windows, isn't it?

Could the people who've quoted my post edit and remove the links, please? No point giving them any of CUK's Google Juice

EDIT: Looks like Bitdefender beats Avira, Kaspersky and NOD32 on this one
