Microsoft Live Onecare seal of approval

After One full year of subscribing to Microsoft Live One care, I am now ready to give it my official seal of approval.

It has maintained my system to a high standard (peak performance).

Nothing has managed to get through the firewall.

Zero popups other than the ones I have allowed.

I'm using Vista and have had no problems whatsoever since removing all other anti virus software etc, and relying solely on 1 care.

Since installing 1 care, I have had no more problems with slow uploads or downloads.

I have just renewed for another year (£37)

I hate plugging Microsoft ware; but I have to be honest, I'm Impressed. Even Vista is a pleasure to use now that I've installed 1 care.

    Just thought I'd share

Thanks. Is it a Vista only thing or can XP users play too?

So, the question is, why do you have to pay £37 per year in order for Microsoft to make your system secure. Surely you should be getting that for free out of the box? Sounds like a scam to me.

Not if you make less than 50 Litres a week. According to the BBC last week, Hector doesn't care if it's only that much.

I've just got my Asus 1000 and am free to roam!

Since this will primarily be used wirelessly (and using Bristol's free wifi at that...), does this 1 care work on XP as well as Vista, Diver?
