    downsides of hving an unlocked iphone is that you cannot get any itune or phone updates, if you do then your phone will get locked. You can get unlocked ready handsets, but ofcourse not from shops as they dont sell them unlocked well cpw etc dont.

    So is it poossible to recover from a phone that has been bricked by an iTunes or Firmware update? I've seen varying reports from those claiming it's not an issue to those who say you might as well bin the phone and start again.
