    How is this coded?

HEMA is a Dutch department store. The first store opened on 4th
November 1926, in Amsterdam. Now there are 150 stores all over the
Netherlands. HEMA also has stores in Belgium, Luxemburg, and Germany.
In June of this year, HEMA was sold to British investment company Lion
    Capital.

Take a look at HEMA's product page. You can't order anything and
it's in Dutch but just wait a couple of seconds and watch what happens.

Don't click on any of the products pictured, just wait and see
what happens. And be sure you have your sound turned up.

How do they do that? I bet NickFitz knows...

    It's a Flash movie/animation.

    Nothing clever.

Basically as DP said, although there are also a few JavaScript routines (called from Flash) to handle the page scrolling, as that's not something that can be done directly from a Flash movie.

I thought it was very clever.

Have you actually had a go a making Flash animations Prawn?

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Praise the Lord you asked Prwan and not me! I might have had to lie - then ask NickFitz is you started asking questions...
