I've been having the same problem with BT Broadband since last night though.

I had some odd performance on my ADSL2, not BT supplied - I think maybe big networking issues this weekend, perhaps DDOS or Ska has gained mind of its own

No, I was trying to be serious and model simplistically what would happen in case of a nuclear blast. I actually think EMI will kill computer well before shock wave reaches the house. See now just how silly that joke was? Only people who have no clue what happens in case of a nucler blast would buy it.
