.Net/SQL related technologies currently in demand

Anyone seeing any demand/use for the latest .net/sql related technologies in their contracts?

    e.g.

Visual Studio 2008 (with .Net 3.5 support)
    LINQ
    SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

I was going to add SQL Server 2008 to the list, but don't think it's even out yet. End of feb IIRC?

If I've missed anything, let me know.

Should I be mostly ok with the previous set of VS 2005, .Net 2.0, SQL Server 2005?

If an agent asks then yes!

Dunno. What self-awareness test should I use to find out?

Maybe you think I'm claiming to have 5 years experience of VS2008? When in fact I'm just bowing to an agent's superior dimness if they ask me. Saying yes never got you turned down for a role.

threaded is in the process of migrating his old VS2010 stuff to the 2013 version.

That'll be the version where wingdings and webdings replaced txt-speek as the new favoured language following the merging of C# and VB.Net?

Genius of M$ to put year indicators after their products. No business would want to be seen dead using a 10 year old version of a product, despite the actual differences being negligible and barely more useful.
