They tell me that the high speed areas already cover most of the bits I'm interested in. Interesting, since my parents village gets next to no signal from anyone, so I'm not 100% convinced.
Oh well, it's cheaper than the hotel internet charges.Comment

The USB thing is quite clever - it actually acts as a drive and all the drivers / apps on it. Confused the hell out of me as I thought they'd forgotten to include a driver CD.
For some reason mine didn't autostart and they had to talk me through manually loading the drivers for it.
I'm actually using my data SIM in a 6120C Smartphone as I got fed up lugging my laptop to work just for email and occasional unrestricted browsing. The phone is a bargain at 99 ukp on 3 PAYG.Comment

I've just signed up with Vodafone and their PCMCIA thingy jigger £30 pm. I'll let you know how I get on. I was fed up of paying £15 for 24 hours at every hotel I stay at!!!!
On a related note; does anyone know if the cards come with software to monitor your useage? I know I can get some freeware to do same but I thought the card may come with a utility.Comment
