    Phone & E-Mail Device

My mobile is a lump of poo, and worth about 50p.

I now want something that will let me:

phone + read/send emails + browse the Net (legibly) + store a few docs (and allow me to send them as attachments).

Advice on devices and network provider deals most gratefully received.

    Thanks.

I have an Orange M3100 that does all the above, has a full qwerty keyboard as well.

Generally any provider that does HTC phones should provide what you are looking for.

Agree wit Ard I have a spv m3100 although I have unlocked it and use it on T-mobile, it picks up my mails every 5 mins, surfs the web, full qwerty keboard and with the aid of a 2gb micro card I have music and docs on the go !!

Brilliant phone, plus you can also use it very well as a Sat Nav unit

I have a HTC S710 and it is great, although the slide-out keyboard would be easier toi use if I had pins instead of fingers. All in all though a great device. Perfect for pinging the odd document around and web browsing, particularly when using wi-fi for speed, is very nice.

The SPV m3100 and T-Mobile MDA Vario II are the same phone I think (HTC Tytn), but rebaged for the network.

I use it under it's T-Mobile guse and am well chuffed with it. However if you are getting one I would wait a few weeks, rumour has it that T-Mobile will be launching the MDA Vario III in September (they already have in Europe), a new phone from HTC with more bells and whistles (and Windows Mobile 6)....

True the new vario 3 will also be out on vodafone, and orange, it will have all of thea features of HTC TYTN plus inbuilt GPS, that will be my next phone !!

PS if you get the vario 2 (m3100) you can upgrade it to WM6 quite easily already.

What about Blackberry? Hype or what? Remember, I am a tw@t at mobile phone-type technology.

And thanks very much for all replies. I am very grateful.
