    Removing plastic hub caps

    What is the secret to removing a plastic hub cap quickly, without splitting it. I always struggle trying to get the damn thing off.

    Use a hammer, that way it will shatter rather than split

        Drive round a corner at a dangerously fast speed, narrowly avoiding some old dear on her way home from the market. The hubcaps on the outside bend side should come clean off and spin down the road into the old dear's rose garden.

        The other way would be to try using a flat head screwdriver to gradually prise it off.
        It's about time I changed this sig...
