Any IT-savvy person who deliberately installed ME on to a PC would be, in my personal opinion, commiting a wilful act of sabotage.
And if they didn't know the perils of ME, then they should stick to colouring books and crayons since IT is a little too advanced for them.
I could not, hand on heart, no matter how much the Client paid, bring myself to install ME on to their systems without getting a signed disclaimer first from the Client absolving me from all damage this reckless action would entail.
And if they insisted, then I would do it, take no fee, and never ask them to call me again.
Windows ME is like Ian Huntley, Roy Whiting , Peter Sutcliffe and Tony Blair, all rolled in to one. With an added sprinkle of "The Exorcist" thrown in for good measure.
