I did some work for Sony a few years ago testing a product called Realsho manager and they had some stunning PTZ cameras an RZ-30 if I remember correctly.

Very very good image quality, excellent zoom and all the benefits of 360 * 180 degree movement. Unfortunatly they were about £1500 at the time, but that was 3-4 years ago now. Worth having a look to see what the current version is like.

Any updates for those who were considering buying - what did you get in the end & are you happy with it?

Has anyone found a motion sensitive system that you could hook up to a shotgun (mere joke m'lud)

A bit off-topic, but I had a scout around on the interweb, and was amazed to see fingerprint recognition car immobilsers are available, and, IMHO, not too expensive (£350-ish, all-in).

Quick up date, never actually ended up setting it up. The Mare's health got worse so she was sent down to the Royal Veterinary Colledge Hospital at South Mimms. Sadly, despite the efforts of the staff there, the foal died shortly after being born.

On a lighter note, you should be able to rig up a shotgun on one of these .
