MS Action Pack

...is no more. MS have scrapped that for another range of "benefits" that you can purchase.

I used to buy it to get the office software and Azure Portal credits for POCs, but what was the *actual* purpose of those licences?

To use for my company? Or to pass on to clients?

Anywho I am getting emails saying my Office 365 E3 subscription is enduing next week, does that mean I will have to purchase them again?

Looking on my PC dashboard it is called 'Partner Launch Benefits' which is £265 + VAT. Anyone purchased this? It is similar to the Action Pack?

I used to be a Silver Partner back in the day but it was a load of bollox since MS stopped working with genuine freelancers via IR35 etc.

I had one referral in five years that lead to paid work from being an MS Partner.

I moved over to Partner Launch Benefits earlier this year. I only used Action Pack for Office licenses and occasional Windoze licenses when building a custom PC (which I've not done for a good while).

They've downgraded the amount of OneDrive storage that's available, which may / may not be a concern for you. Other than that, I don't see much difference and it's a little cheaper than the previous subscription. If you use Teams be aware that O365 licenses are without Teams and you have to activate a separate license for that.

I have been having a tinker with D365 Business Central, just to see what it's about, but it looks to be way overkill for me to consider using in anger.

Thank you LM, I will probably pay it as trying to reenable an expired subscription with MS is bloody nightmare.
