    Flat screen monitor

Any recommendations for a flat screen monitor in terms of size, make and general tech spec?

Here on the clients site they seem to use a lot of Acers. Any comments and/or recommendations?

    TIA.

Viewsonic. If you get the right screen you can get Class I warranty on them meaning zero dead pixels.

Mine is a vp201b and I like it. Dell also do good screens.

There are loads out now real cheap and most are good. Personally, 20" is the min size I'd consider.

            Look at:
Contrast ratio: the higher the numbers the better.
Response Time: I'd recommend 8ms or less

I've got one of these for my XBox-360 and it's very good.

Are there good online places to buy new monitors? I am working at a client in Holborn at the moment and I was thinking of getting one in Tottenham Court Road - but then I have the challenge of getting it home on the train!!
