    to be honest; i've had problems before where the drivers have become corrupt. It's worth uninstalling the driver and then rebooting before re-installing.

    Remember to download the driver before you uninstall the current one though

    Other than that, it's not worth persuing really, just pick up another NIC, they're only a couple of quid these days.

      maybe you just need to get another one, they cost very little
