    Sitemaps and robots.txt

    Few related problems:

I have a sitemap that only includes pages with relevant product stuff. It excludes various pages which have no mobile equivalent, yet Google is showing errors with these pages, saying they are not mobile friendly. I've added them to robots.txt, will that sort it?

Also should mobile pages with a desktop equivalent of very similar content be listed in the sitemap? Seems a bit pointless when they've got <link rel="canonical" in them. Note the mobile pages are in mobile subdirectory, not a separate url.

You'd think it would be easy to find the answers on Google but it ain't! Any brill CUK ideas?
