I'm looking at buying a new laptop for working when commuting. Is there any benefit to having it equipped with its own 4G sim card vs just tethering through my mobile?

I don't see any benefits of it being equipped with 4G slot - only cost for 2nd SIM if it's going to be an occasional use.
I can probably see some vague benefit in not having to faff around with your phone if it's going to be used non-stop.
