I saw Bobby Charlton at Old Trafford on his iPhone once. That's probably good enough reason not to get one, based on the "logic" in this thread.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostJust get an iPhone, texts and calls all synced over Wi-fi, simplesComment

Well that's this issue solved in the next month and a bit.Originally posted by SimonMac View Post
I took a look on the O2 Community boards, and people ain't too happy about the new fangled setup. So it looks like calls over WiFi will only work on a flagship device purchased from O2.Originally posted by Hugh Jardon View PostWell that's this issue solved in the next month and a bit.

And even then, SMS won't be supported (yet).
What dumb f**k came up with this idea?

Spoke to O2 this morning & told them I wanted my pac code & hey presto! Theres a solution.
They're sending me a signal booster which doesn't boost signal at all but is a box that allows you to make calls over wi-fi. You can register 30 different numbers & you need 3mbps broadband speed, apparently.
Oh, and it costs £150 but I got it free as I threatened to pull the plug on O2.Comment
