Considering trying the ones from the link stek posted. The 480GB is $399 and comes with the kit to open all the required parts. Sounds better than trying to sell and then buy a new one.

More disk space for MacBook

I recently bought a Macbook Pro 13 for work. I have a 128gb usb stick but I found it a pain to use when travelling with it sticking out of the side just waiting to get broken.
I ended up buying a Transcend Jetdrive. It's basically an SD card but only half the height so sits flush with the Macbook. Works well so far. I still keep the USB drive for backup when on the road.Comment
