Recommendations for online appointements and reminder program

A quick search turned up mymemorizer.com - Web calendar with e-mail and SMS/Text Message reminder alert service

But at first glance this doesn't appear to support the granularity of hours, as per Outlook Calendar for example, which for some reminders I would need.

Anyone else use one of these, and can recommend one for things like birthdays and appointments, and bills to be paid etc.

I don't mind a few ads for a free service, and I would be prepared to pay a small annual subscription for a decent and reliable service.

P.S. Must be a PC app rather than a mobile phone app, as I don't use the Internet on my mobile phones.
