    Any VPS recommendations ?

    Hi

I need a UK based VPS service where I could install Cisco AnyConnect and connect to the client machine via Remote Desktop.
Also, what sort of package would I need ? RD itself should be roughly 25mb per hour = 200mb per day, don't need any HDD space, not sure about RAM, I guess the minimum will do ..

    Thanks

Founds a few services in google:

      Disk Space
      20 GB
      Bandwidth
      200 GB
      RAM
      256 MB
      IP Addresses*
      1/10
      Monthly Price
      £3.00

Looks good, is 256MB RAM enough to run remote desktop though ?

Also would they normally allow to install AnyConnect and will be Windows servers ?

Thanks, they don't seem to offer any Windows-based VPSes though ?

Windows will have a large Microsoft tax attached to the monthly cost....

How is hard is it to install AnyConnect and configure RDP connection to a Windows server on Linux VPS?
Forgive my ignorance, I always worked with Microsoft products and hardly seen any linux-based systems.

AnyConnect looks more or less straightforward https://faq.oit.gatech.edu/content/h...t-client-linux
Is it easy to configure the remote desktop ? I will have only a few hours to set up everything ..

Piece of piss. At the prompt:

                yum install freerdp

                ought to do it...

RDP is a Microsoft interface... While Microsoft provide a Mac client they don't provide a Linux one.

You need to take a step back and explain what you are trying to do and the restrictions you have including the platforms the software you need runs on....

I need to have a 24/7 setup that would allow several people to connect to the client's server (Windows) via VPN (AnyConnect) & remote desktop. One at a time would be fine.
