    Birmingham Drinks

    Evening all,

Can I have a show of hands for a contractor meet up in Brum, around early December. See poll.
If we have a few takers then we'll make it a go-er, if not so popular then we'll all stick to watching porn in our bedsits.

I'm also up for a ruby if anyone else is.

    Can do ...

Not sure about curry but I'd like to put The Lord Clifden as possible venue for food - it really kicks arse...

Not that i've been drinking around there for ages, but it used to be quite good.

St. Paul's square area fine by me but I don't know the pubs these days. Any good for real ale?

Just remembered I went to The Lord Clifden during jazz fest. The beer was OK.

Good to have you on board Tin Trump. You could say I have an interest in real ale also, so will likely be a pub serving decent beer.

The Church Inn, a few doors along from The Lord Clifden, used to serve Bathams.
I know its changed hands several times in the past 5 years so can't vouch for it now. In fact some recent reviews seem pretty poor.

Blimey, at this rate we'll need a much bigger venue!

I know. I'll slip some advertising in on the main forum a bit closer to the time.

I know there's a few posters from round this neck of the woods. Would be nice to have a few more takers.

I might be able to make it to a Birmingham meetup
