I only know council estates in North London, so that was going to be my suggestion anyway.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

I think that was the suggestion of one "cailin maith", who then failed to turn up to said xmas bash that year. Apparently they'd ended up in said pub the previous year.

I am not sure what you are talking about, actually.

The 2 Christmas do's I have been to, were not on any council estate. Soho the first year and Islington the next. I do not know London and could therefore not have chosen other than someplace in the middle of the city.

I have never organised one which I have not then turned up to.

Am sure RH or NF could back me up on this.

Anyway, I'd like to come though not naming a date for a little while may not be such a bad idea. Maybe look at a month though?

          June or July?

I think that's where the problem lies.

I don't know what you mean. You came to the first one with me, FFS.

I don't think I have ever suggested anywhere and then not turned up. Why would I?

                Calm down dear..

you mentioned the mucky pup which is in Islington, but unfortunately is right in the middle of a council estate just off the high st, you couldn't make it that year.

I think you will find that was Nicks suggestion. We went there the 2nd time I'd been to a Christmas bash. I don't recall it being in a council estate either. It was just off the main road-ish.

Ah, apologies for putting the blame on you.

                    I blame NF.

Meanwhile, back on topic; June is good for me.
