There are no restrictions on your ability to work whilst on an Ancestral Visa. With a bit of research on the gov.uk website, you can find everything that you need.

Rules on hiring contractors on ancestral visa

Hi. I've been searching for what the rules are for hiring a contractor from NZ. I have worked in the UK for 12 yes, up to 5 years ago and want to come back next year on my valid ancestral visa but i heard that orgs would need to pay 2000gbp to hire someone like me. Is that correct? Thanks. K
