If that's not the CV of a dodgy umbrella provider nothing is. the LLP from 2012 is a nice addition for those who know what to look for...

Tek umbrella ltd
TEK UMBRELLA LTD, Company Number: 09074178. Just a little note about these people.
I followed a link from a major business networking site this morning and it lead me here https://www .tekumbrella.co.uk
They claim you can keep 92% of your earnings, fully compliant etc..... so I thought I would take a closer look out of idle interest. Very interesting actually. Despite the glossy open for business website, the company filed on 12th June 2017 with accounts up to 30th June 2016 and in fact the company is declared dormant with balance sheet assets of GBP 1 for both 2015 and 2016. In fact this is unchanged from the date of incorporation on 6th June 2014. Somewhat strangely for such an apparently major financial services company, the registered address of 3rd Floor, 14 Hanover Street Mayfair, London W1S 1YH is described in Google as "a mail drop address". The sole director and share holder, Mark Alwyn Turner is apparently a "computer consultant". Hi, Mark, don't be shy, say hello to all your potential new customers eh?
So - "TekUmbrella is a UK registered company offering contractors like you an unparalleled legal means of maximising your cash flow. We offer exceptional expertise and service." I don't know about you, but I'm not convinced. Needless, I won't be calling Mark to sign up any time soon.Tags: None
