Well at least there's no urgency in changing the password, still they're probably distributing a nasty virus in my name....

All they've done is use your email address as the 'sender' address even although they weren't sent from your account.

What you're getting is the 'undeliverables'.

Will prob last a few days and then stop.

    Yahoo spoof e-mails

hmm someone has been spoofing my yahoo e-mail, however what is strange is although there are no spam mails in the sent folder I'm receiving replies from routers when there is an invalid address. Does that happen with spoofed e-mails i.e. do they reply to the "spoofed" address?

They did lock the account and told me to reset the password, but the change password facility is down at Yahoo probably from the hackers.

If it's spoofed there's not a lot I can do anyway, just wondering whether it was hacked, wouldn't expect that because I could login with my old password.

OK confirmed that this is indeed the case, the e-mails do bounce back if you're being spoofed.
