NP, it'll probably take me a couple of days to decipher what I did then I can email the profiles to whoever wants them. I have profiles and groups of profiles for battery saving, locating a lost phone, notifying me when someone makes 3 failed attempts to unlock the phone, and I have a simple gps point marker and locator which uses google maps.

I've had a bit of time on my hands lately

Looks good - just installed it, and successfully found my phone and sent an alarm.

I regularly forget my laptop. Fortunately, office is only 6 miles away.

If anyone wants the profiles I'm happy to forward them on. Thinking about it I'm using email me pro which cost an almighty £1.23 to send the emails on top of the £2.99 for tasker.

All for the price of Tasker.
I'd try to sell that if I was you.

I used to use where's my droid, glad I haven't had a need to use it as the commander has been down for months.

Have a look at Prey - I have used this on several Android handsets.....and a tablet a while back. Thankfully, never had to 'use' it, but comes pretty highly recommended by those who probably know more than me

I have 360life installed on mine Life360 - The New Family Circle

Great thing is you can get the kids on it so can see where they are as well. Don't use it to track their every move but if one of them is late home instead of fretting and ringing round everyone I can see where they are.

    Cheers all.

iPhone apps not much help for Android

    I'll go with lookout.

    I have lookout installed.

Since I'm paranoid about losing my phone / wallet, I'm backing this Kickstarter project - wallet tells you when you leave your phone behind, phone tells you when you leave your wallet behind.
