    How do you find the SlingPlayer picture quality? My daughter uses SlingPlayer in Nottingham to watch her SlingBox that is at home in Cheshire. We both have fibre optic broadband so connection speed isn't an issue, but she says the picture at her end is terrible.

    Google "openproxy" - go to one of the sites that lists the peformance metrics. Then choose a good looking UK one and use this in your IE/Firefox/Chrome proxy settings.

    A proxy, or slingbox from a Sky box etc in the UK, or thebox.bz or uknova.com as sort of torrent PVR's!
