Yes, I've played around with Plan 9 circa 2006 in emulation (qemu) and it was almost useless but only because I didn't see the point. I am told Plan 9 is/was a revolutionary idea. I am not sure what will go on now that Dennis M. Ritchie has died.
Anyone using it in a commercial environment? I am not sure. I struggle to find anybody in the commercial environment who can understand the basics of Unix/Linux/BSD, let alone Plan 9!
