XBL stole 2 years of my life, when my daughter was born I weened myself off and let it expire.
Another great idea for a story from CUK, Ta.

Never got into computer games somehow. Occasionally do one of those "find the object things" with the missus.

I've a PS3 so online gaming is free, but I don't think I ever heard an XBox user complain much about the price for what is apparently a very solid service.

Maybe we should organise a PS3/XBox/Wii gaming night, there must be loads of us who have consoles? Or PC folk could play Starcraft.

It was good but I need the sleep!

If you do decide to buy a full subscription then consider buying it from this site - Live-Codes - Instant Gaming Subscription & Points - of which I have no connection other than I have purchased the xbox live subscription far cheaper than MS sells it for.

I would give Black Ops a miss personally.

Games only truly come alive online IMPO. I notice Quakelive.com is running Christmas maps this week. Not often you get a chance to shoot Santa.

    XBox Live

Against my better judgement, I signed up for the free one month XBox Live Gold trial about a week ago.

Games (BFBC2, CODMW4) that I had previously completed a few times in single player mode have been given a new lease of life.

I am now worried that I have let the genie out of the bottle and will turn my trial subscription into a full 12 month one when I already have so little time.

Anyone else also on XBox Live? How often and what games do you play?

Currently fighting the temptation to buy CODMW: Black Ops.
