Firefox is the only browser I know where you can access a changed page on the website and its still shows the cached version until you refresh. Seem to recall a problem with a bank site and I was advised to clear the history & settings. Don't recall details.

No problem here.

To see if it's something in the browser or something in your personal data, try creating a new profile and see if that has the same problem. If so, it may be an extension you have installed. Go to Tools menu -> Add-ons. Disable all your extensions and see if that fixes it. If so, re-enable them one by one until you find out who the culprit is.

If the other profile works but your original one doesn't then, as k2p2 suggests, caches and cookies are a place to start.

Do you get an error page, blank page or what?

Why can't I access bbc.co.uk?

I have a bizarre problem in that in Firefox I can access any site except a BBC one, e.g. bbc.co.uk or news.bbc.co.uk

In Internet Explorer I can access these BBC sites fine. So I'm wondering what the blue blazes in Firefox is blocking them.

Any ideas?
